Ceremonial
My mum and dad lived most of their lives in Bois-Jean Jean, Moruga, a rural village in Trinidad, West Indies. We were told that our dad, Mamelto Cultess, was born in Venezuela, and came to Trinidad with his auntie, and during his stay in Trinidad, he married my mother, Helena Carmen Cultess whose maiden name was Edwards. Up to today, we are not sure of the correct spelling of my dad's first or last name, because on his arrival in Trinidad, the only language he spoke was Spanish. We believed that the clerk at the registry office didn't understand Spanish, so the clerk wrote down how the name sounded. Possible names are (Cortes, Cortez)
My parents had seven children, four boys and three girls. Here are their names according to their age from the eldest to the youngest: Hyacinth, Boysin, Gloria, Clive, Leroy, Clarence, and Janet. Both of my parents, and all my siblings are diceased.
